The sense of: "I feared that if I delayed a minute, black and white might turn to grey again and I might remain ensnared." is strong for me too and reading your words has prompted me to take the action I have been long delaying. My heart lies to me in the form of, 'you have already put so much time into this, it is a waste to quit' yet to not quit is simply to waste more time, both playing the game and also thinking about the game. It's something that was wrapped up in other sins and something I clung to in the midst of a lot of emotional pain and confusion. The devil fights hard to pull us down and keep us down, but I believe the Lord fights harder to pull us up. He is faithful to send those warning signs. God forgive us for ignoring them so often!
