The following questions have been on my mind as God has continued to work in my heart to deepen my faith.
1. If faith was stripped out of your life tomorrow, what specifically would change? List them.
2. Do you do anything that requires you to walk by faith (all of life ought to be a walk by faith, but is there any specific action(s) that requires a strong faith in God)? List them.
3. How many times have you been moved by breath-taking stories Christians living by faith to God’s glory, but still have yet to do anything yourself?
Making the lists revealed my heart, intensifying my cry for God’s Spirit to strengthen my faith. It also intensified my prayerful search for ways to exercise my faith.
How do those questions strike you?

Thanks for stopping by today. Did you see that there is a new Bahnsen book out? I have not read, but it is no doubt good presuppositionalist reading.
Chris, I was blessed to stop by. Your thoughts no doubt were used by the Holy Spirit. I am continually amazed as God faithfully brings fellow brothers in Christ into my life at the right time. I read, a light bulb comes on, a puzzle piece snaps into place, and another thread is woven in as God works to bring me to a fuller knowledge of Himself.
You are the second to recommend the Bahnsen book. I think it is time to get my hands on a copy!
These are great questions. I don’t suppose you expected to have the answers shared, so I won’t share them, but I did answer them!
Elizabeth,
My own hesitancy to answer aloud prevents me from expecting or asking anyone to go further than I did.
The questions themselves only bring guilt when I mull them over.
The answers found in Christ only brings grace and hope amidst the battle of unbelief.
Well, I would certainly need more opportunities for growing my faith if I did this little exercise!
Challenging.
I am with you, Jonathan.
