My struggle was a little different but similarly triggered. My writing isn’t nearly as effective as yours but I still tried if you would like to read it…

Wow, I have to agree with Demian and Al. As I was reading I was taken back by the transparency you exhibited in this post. I love how you said “Since I can’t know everything in order to refute everything, I will know the one thing that matters: Christ and Him crucified.” That shows humility bro. And I don’t think that is born out of your own willingness, but out of God’s provision.

I’m so thankful our paths crossed, how ever that happened.

Demian, Al, and Ruth,
You are all a blessing. Your kinds words are always encouraging, but today are particularly humbling…because if I had been granted my wish, I would have skipped the whole battle with skepticism. I was the cowering sinner wishing I could flee and “just go back to how things were.” And that would have been a mistake, the rejection of a Divine gift.
