The 7 Life-Changing Principles of this Blog
Hey, I’m Daniel Wilson. What you can expect to find reading this blog is closely related to the heart-level demolition and construction the Spirit has done in my heart.
The following are seven life-changing principles that are reflected in the content of Desire Spiritual Growth.
There is also a story behind each point [and I will get to that soon].
1. The Word of God brings us to the God of the Word
2. Agreement is not action
3. Methods are not the power source
4. Faith is not an assumption 5.
5. Love precedes obedience
6. Information is not intimacy
7. Know this one thing: Christ, and Him crucified
The seventh point swallows the preceding six.
Even if we set our mind to know the Word of God, we are blinded to the truth apart from Christ. If we want to obey, only in Christ are we made a new creature set free from sin to be a slave of righteousness. All of the other 6 points hinge in some way on the gospel of Christ.
